Pacsoft The Company

Pacsoft is a family business serving family businesses, employing some 55 people. We focus on the Lumber and Hardware retail segment and have over 1,500 customers throughout the world.

The company was founded in 1984 by current Chairman and owner Andrew Darbyshire AM. We were the first company in the world serving the Lumber and Hardware industry to develop a true Windows based system in 1995.

More than half our team have been with the company for between 10 and 20 years. This stability is very important to Pacsoft and our clients. We love our customers and treat them like family.

Partnering with Pacsoft means you benefit from a friendly, personalized approach. We aren’t a large corporation managed by accountants and investment bankers looking for a quick buck. We do what we do with a sense of purpose for our customers. We have a strong balance sheet and carry no debt. Unlike most of our larger corporate competitors, we are not at the beck and call of venture capitalists, who have built mass via acquisitions.
